Late October, drought and 90 in Rockport - I think I'll go to Portland Oregon and visit the sister who just happens to have 2 new twin grandchildren. As promised, the weather was indeed wet but felt good, along with the 60 degree temps. Jan suggested an apartment that some friends of hers listed through airbnb. Just a few blocks from Jan's condo, it saved renting a car and gave me a good excuse to walk the area and take photos.
